Anti Paladin

Mercy, Honesty, Order, Justness, and a dedication to seeing the Light shine through the Dark. Those are the pillars of what makes a paladin great. Paladins are an elite group of warriors. They were gathered together and selected for their devotion to the aforementioned tendencies. They were granted power from the Lords of Light to spread those same tendencies throughout Thera. Not only to spread them, but to bring them to all those who deserve them. Those first paladins did just that and when their numbers dwindled and they grew old they found students to teach. And so started the Guild of Paladins. Paladins must be dedicated to all pillars that support them. If one lets one pillar become to dominant or removes a pillar then the entire base of the paladin may come crashing down. Without the base a paladin can be stripped of his or her powers. Because paladins are trusted with great power by the Lords of Light and must use it to complete the task set forth for them by the same. Paladins are skilled combatants. Their skills in combat may be greatly enhanced when they become powerful enough to apply the blessing of the Light to their very weapons, creating blessed weapons to be used to fight evil, protect the innocent, and help all who need it. They must be methodical in their actions for Order can only be grasped, obeyed and shown to others through meticulous behavior. Chaos brings about the end of order and impulsiveness brings about Chaos by its very nature of spontaneity. Paladins should try and help all they see that deserve it. Many bring about them an aura of darkness and paladins should be wary of this. Is their helping of the dark going to sway the dark one or will it simply help them triumph over good? Will the paladin him or herself be able to stand up for the Light, resist evil, and uphold the task set forth for them or will he or she succumb to the temptations of wickedness and fall from grace?
