A second master found that the elegant crane was the optimum animal. It moved with a grace that often confounded its attackers so well they hit each other more than the bird. The crane radiated a sense of great inner power and the master found that he too could focus his inner being into a usable power that he called Chi. He formed the school of the Crane to teach those who found more power within themselves than without.
