Meditation, training and spirituality were sought by a group of warriors who grew tired of the ways of the world.
They cast off their weapons and armor for ways more peaceful to their minds, bodies and spirits. They found that many of the exercises they had found in their training could be used here with meditation to enhance ones self beyond what one needed for combat. They were able to hone their bodies, minds and souls into one single entity.
They were not left alone to their newly discovered peace. The world found them in one of its many conflicts and drew it in as quickly as any other being. These people did not resort back to their old ways, however. They found that with all of their meditation and training that they were now a weapon. Their meticulous training had honed them into a new type of warrior. After that particular war had ended the surviving Monks gathered together to form a place where they would teach their ways to others.
Soon after they began teaching students five masters found that they could create exercises and techniques to emulate the animals they found around them. The animals they chose all were extremely capable of defending ones self and all seemed beyond the desires of the human world.
One master followed the tigers. He watched in awe as they took down prey twice their size and at how easily they defended themselves against other predators and even against other tigers. He formed his school of the Tiger to teach those students who sought power and feline grace above all else.
