In a sort of emotional conflict over asking others for help as a young paladin -History- Grew up as the eldest in an intact family of 7. As per tradition was sent out on his quest for 'manhood' at the age of 15. His vigil went well until he found himself cornered by a few stray wolves with only a field knife to defend himself. When he was cornered an elder paladin of a nearby town arrived through prayer and fought off the wolves. The paladin spent the next few hours with him talking arround the campfire. He was impressioned by the paladin, how calm and confident he seemed, always willing to do what was needed, something Relepete was not inclined to in his childhood. He expressed his intrest of the paladin guild and oath and was taught the fundamentals there. Before the visiting paladin left he told Relepete that if he were to join the guild and take the oath of the cloth he should strongly consider Lord Carenthir as an oracle of what every paladin should strive to be. After the paladin left Relepete thought for a long time by himself and decided that he would dedicate himself to the paladin way of life, and try to revoke his somewhat greedy and selfish ways as a child by holding Carenthir as his roll model. He wanted to reverse what he was as a child and to serve others faithfuly for the rest of his life, just as the paladin had done for him. -Religion- (definitions of Carenthir's tenants in his own words) Self-Sacrifice: The willingness to help others both uppon request and spontaneously at possible great cost to one's self, providing there is not some other responsibility one must atend to. Humility: The ability to think of others before one's self, to deny one's self unnecesary convieniences in favor of the less fortunate, and to continualy remember that ye exist to help and assist others.
