Character: Cragh Crunch, High Arbiter of the Stronghold, Leader of The Citizen Brigade Character Created: 2006-11-19 22:05:25 Last Record Update: 2007-12-21 21:08:20 Hours Played: 487 Race: giant , Class: ranger Hunter, House: justicar, Rank: 51 Alignment: 0, Ethos: 0 Description: A very tall, battle-hardened giant stands before you, with a look of sadness in his eyes. His greying hair is neatly tied and flows most of the way down his back. The giant's skin looks rugged and rough, as if it has seen many years of exposure to the elements. His armor seems to be piecemeal, haphazardly thrown together. Upon Cragh's right bicep, you can see a large heart, in which is a Rabbit branded with the Seal of the Justicars. Upon his left bicep you see the words 'BEWARE OF FROG'. His hands are as large as small boulders, and appear to be as tough. One of his eyes appears to be half blind, while the other stares at the sky. Psychological Profile: Cragh was orphaned at a very young age, when his village was attacked by an army of trolls. Cragh jumped down his village well and hid there while his family and everyone else he knew was slaughtered. Over a week of being stuck at the bottom of this well, being unable to climb out, Cragh was rescued by a grey elf ranger by the name of Myleferos. Upon seeing the destruction wrought against his family and friends, Cragh collapsed in misery, and wished only to be struck down by the gods themselves. "Come with me, young giant, I will show you a new life" , the old ranger said to Cragh. Cragh could barely understand the words of the grey ranger, but could understand his intentions and followed him into the woods. For many years, this ranger taught Cragh how to live as one with the world around him, to move as part of the forest, and to never suffer or be deprived of anything. Even for his size, Cragh learned well enough, but still was a little clumsy at many of his skills, save one. Cragh was to become an excellent archer. Secretly, his mentor thought that Cragh may be the best archer alive. Though by now Cragh could be called a ranger by any and all who would judge him as such, Cragh still lacked basic social and communicative skills. The old ranger decided that the best thing for Cragh would be to send him off to the cities to learn how to live in a society, for now the ranger was the only family or friend that Cragh had in the world. But the ranger had to teach Cragh one more important lesson be- fore he sent him off. He explained to Cragh that the trolls that slayed his family were long dead, and that certainly he would encounter other trolls on his journeys. He taught Cragh that trolls are part of this world, and have their place in this world just as does every other being, and they are not to be ruthlessly exterminated. Cragh had to travel very long and far to reach the core of the known world of Thera. He climbed a mountain into some swirling mists, where he encountered a balding priest that helped him strengthen his mind and body even further, and instructed him to seek out the guild of rangers when he rea- ched the great cities. Cragh practiced with the priest for a short time, then made his way down the mountain, through the silver gates and into Glyndane. To Cragh, the city was nothing but chaos. Within his first five minutes, he saw a cleric murdered in the street. Cragh will never forget the look on the clerics face as he fell... sorrow, redemption, kindess. Looking up to see his assailant, Cragh saw a form duck into the shadows, trailing behind him a scaled, reptil- ian tail. Moments later, a contingent of guards appeared, trailing the corpse of a draconian behind them. From that day, Cragh vowed to not allow innocents to be murdered in the streets, to protect some semblance of order in a world that was surely chaos, to keep the balance, so that all had a right to live and co-exist. At first, Cragh had trouble commuicating with others, and basically would just say Cragh Smash all the time. After some time, Cragh was approached by an elven wizard, Xerthus, who offered him a job in the Enchanting and Enhancing Corportation. Cragh glady acce[ted the job as a bodyguard, and learned to communicate more properly while staying with this clan. During his tenure, Cragh honed his battle skills, and learned his way around the cities of Thera. While working for the EEC, Cragh met a young grey-elven lass named Zelis. For Cragh, it was love at first sight. Zelis left her post to become an Arbiter of the law, and Cragh followed suit soon after, ful- filling his dream of protecting the laws, and assuring that he would be close to the woman he had fallen in love with. Some years passed, Zelis and Cragh grew close, and in the year 103, they were married.
