In times not too far gone an angry being walked the realms. He was born into the Drow clan known as dr'Rhillzznae, in the dark-elven tongue. He burned with the desire for power and wealth, guided by the ancient lore of his clan. As he honed his mind and body to perfection, he became enraged, some say driven mad by those sought to control him, commanding the forces of Law. What purpose does law serve but to protect the weak?
He joined forces with the Outlaws of Thera and rose in the ranks to serve as the Voice of Outlaw. As trusted second in command to an aged Godfather he helped lead the Outlaws in the never ending war against the forces of Tyranny. Standing over the corpse of a shattered Enforcer, he looked to the heavens and dared to call upon the name of Lord Xurinos, the Eye of Darkness.
With Lord Xurinos' guidance, he plunged deeper
into the Void than any mortal had before. The dark energies of Chaos
wreaked havoc in his soul, and planted a seed therein. Decades of battle
followed and the deeds of Malignus became legend. Then the day came
when the aged drow's heart expired. The seed of Chaos in his soul flared
with a crimson light blinding the whole of Thera. The God of Revolution
was born.
Disciples of Malignus are those who refuse to kneel to the dictates
of mortal Law. They live to defy the forces of Oppression which seek
to crush the spirit of Freedom which is the right of every being. Should
mortals dictate where, how, and against whom you use the skills of your
guild? If one lives strongly by his beliefs, would he put them aside
for fear of a law man?
Malignus leads a Mob of citizens in revolt against tyranny. His followers walk paths of either Light or Darkness, united in their defiance of the Law.
A scroll sent to the Mob can be used to contact Malignus and his disciples.
