Dealing; Actions Speak Louder Than Words |
In his mortal life, Julive was a human anti-paladin. He used magic, and he performed evil deeds. He was, even then, a man of action, not of long-winded talk. Shortly after he ascended to the heavens, Lord Ceran was banished, and the House of the Crusaders of Valor required a strong hand to guide them. Julive, his mind filled with evil plots, took the Steel Clan and molded them more toward courage, honor, and great deeds than they had previously performed. In those days, honor was still an option for a Crusader, but a few warriors of the Crusades stood out as having honor. Among them was Jisl the Honorbound, who was also a man of much action and few words. Jisl was among the first, if not the first, follower of Julive to wear his brand of the Dead Parrot, which, it is said, punished the branded if he so much as uttered five words or more at a time.
Followers of Julive believe as he did. Actions speak louder than words. Speak less, do more. Let your acts define who you are. Talk is cheap and worthless, but the worth of a man, or woman, is in what he or she does.
