Went water mage hunting. Found him ranking in the Citadel, not tanking. Game on!
(Side note, major props to Vuenari for gutting this out. And second note, I fought most of the time without steel nerves up. Doh!)
Within the Citadel
The hallway is narrow and much more dusty and damp than the
main corridors. It leads long and straight to the center of
the citadel. Like the rest of the citadel, the walls and
floor are cracked and jagged, with some sections of the roof
hanging or collapsed. The hallway runs to the
north and south.

On a Forest Path
Large pine trees loom overhead in every direction. These trees must have
seen many hundreds of years to be so large and tall. There is dense brush
covering the forest floor, except along a cleared and hard packed dirt
trail. The trail leads to the east and to the north you can see the
remains of what once must have been a beautiful citadel. You see a rough
hewn path that continues west from here.

The corridor is wide and dusty. It also feels very damp and
musty. The floors and walls are both made from large stone
blocks. Many of them have been shaken loose or torn
completely away, and lie in rough piles about the ground.
Faded and ripped tapestries line the walls around the keep.
The corridor runs to the east and north. A stone staircase
is set in the south wall leading up to the next level.

The part where he attacked him while the victim was fighting something else. Regardless of whether he was tanking or not, it was definitely taking advantage of a situation that the crusader did not create.

If the victim is called, and is not harmed. Then we can strike it. It is obvious within the log itself, that the magi was nay harmed when Cam struck the magi. Therefore it is not a dishonorable combat, or violation of the code. As far as I have ever read, or been taught throughout the ages of playing crusaders.
