the Hero of Divine Wrath, Biggest Cheater Evur
This took place well before the little spat they had. The one due to simultaneous, mutual delusions.

You yell, 'Xairria!'

You peer intently west.
=== 1 west ===

=== 2 west ===

=== 3 west ===
A citizen of Ethshar stops and watches people on the road.

You peer intently east.
=== 1 east ===

You peer around yourself intently.

Xomo bites his lower lip.

City Entrance
You stand on the outskirts of a large city-- Ethshar, the Imperial City,
built upon the ruins of the old capital, Midgaard. The road leads east
into the peace and quiet - and dangers - of the forest; to the west it
becomes the city of Ethshar.

[Exits: east west]

Along the Eastern Road
You have covered about a quarter of the distance between the cities of
Ethshar and Tyr-Zinet. The air is getting drier as you near the barren
wastes of the Sands of Sorrow. To the west is the dirt path leading to
Glyndane and further west the glorious city of Ethshar. To the east
the long trek to Tyr-Zinet winds its way through desert and hills.

[Exits: east west]

You say, 'Did I get someone else killed?'

Along the Eastern Road
You have covered about a quarter of the distance between the cities of
Ethshar and Tyr-Zinet. The air is getting drier as you near the barren
wastes of the Sands of Sorrow. A well-kept cobblestone path leads to
the north.

[Exits: north east west]

Along the Eastern Road
The temperature feels slightly warmer here than it does to the west. The
further you walk eastward, the more you get the feeling it will only get
hotter. To the north, a lush forest can be seen sprawled out, but before
it, there is a garden whose entrance seems to be glowing. To the south
are the rolling hills along the outskirts of Glyndane. A sign sits at
the side of the road.

[Exits: north east west]
A torn piece of paper flutters along the ground.

Along the Eastern Road
The Eastern Road slowly continues to the east and west from here. To the
north, the trees of Silverwood can be seen off in the distance. To the
south, the rolling plains appear to continue onward unabated. You can feel
the heat lazily radiating off the road, an indicator of what the climate
may be like further to the east. To the west, the Eastern Road heads back
toward cooler climates as you head toward the cities of Glyndane and
Ethshar.

[Exits: east west]
(Chromatic Aura) A wizened old draconian wanders along the Eastern Road.

You say, 'Idiot...'

The foyer
You are standing in the foyer of Dragon's mansion. The wide double door to
the croquet lawn is to the north, flanked by large windows. The walls are
panelled in oak and hung with strange paintings. There is door in the south
wall.

[Exits: north]

The door is closed.

Ok.

The hallway
You are in the north end of a connecting hallway, tastefully decorated with
oak paneling and the coat-of-arms of various famous nobles hung on the walls.
The hallway leads south, and there is a door in the eastern wall.

[Exits: north south]

You yell, 'Xairria! Are ya in here???'

The hallway
You are standing in the south end of the hallway. There are doors in the
elegant oak-panelled walls to the south, east and west. Many different
coat-of-arms adorn the walls here.

[Exits: north]
A druid is here in meditation.

The door is closed.

Ok.

The kitchen
You are standing in the middle of Dragon's kitchen. Contrary to popular
belief, He *doesn't* eat virgins, which is amply demonstrated by the large
variety of foodstuffs found here on the shelves. There are numerous cans of
tomatoes, peas, corn etc., vines of garlic, a *Huge* array of small spice jars
along several shelves and a large combo refrigerator/freezer. A big oven and
stove is lurking in a corner. There is some proof here that Dragon is a less
than meticulous housekeeper... There are doors to the north and west.

[Exits: north]
A small unlabeled spice jar is standing here.
Some small yellow kernels have been accidentally left here.

It seems to contain a brown, heavy smelling spice.

Ok.

The dining hall
This is Dragons' dining hall. There is a large long solid oak table,
seating at least 24, with heavy, wooden chairs to match. The oak panel walls
are filled with paintings. There are doors to the north and east, and to the
west there is a wide double door opening out onto the sunlit terrace.

[Exits: east]
A druid is here in meditation.

A druid leaves east.

Xomo's lip quivers.

Xomo wipes his eyes.

You say, '...she's not in trouble..?'

The terrace
You are standing on a sunlit terrace in front of Dragon's mansion. To the
west, there is a splendid view over the field down over the lake. To the north
is the greenhouse, its large windowpanes shimmering with weird and wonderful
colors, while a double door leads into the house proper to the east. It is
warm and calm here. There is a white-painted table with a parasol here,
together with a matched set of chairs.

[Exits: east]

The door is closed.

The holy grove
You are standing amidst the ancient oaks and poplars in the holy grove. You
can feel a strange sensation of joy and calm seeping through You, as if great
burdens have been lifted from Your shoulders. To the south, You glimpse an open
area through the trees, while paths lead away north and west.

[Exits: north east south west]
A deer is here, staring back at you.
A deer is here, staring back at you.

Xomo starts to panic.

You yell, 'Xairria! I took the book from ya why couldn't ya just keep it!?'

A clearing in the woods
You are standing in a clearing in the light woods. Somehow, this place
seems powerfully DIFFERENT from the rest of the forest, as if something is
severely strained in the fabric of reality here. There is a small tablet
on one of the trees.

The sacred glade
You are standing in the middle of the sacred glades, where the citizens of
Ethshar and Glyndane come to celebrate the spring, where farmers give
thanks for bountiful harvest in the fall, and where lovers stroll in summer.
You feel seasons of remembered happiness and joy taking Your sorrows and
worries away from You, leaving You calm and invigorated, ready for the
world. Paths lead into the holy grove to the east, north and west, while to
the south a wide, sunny field slopes down to a sparkling lake. Above you is
a strange shimmering, almost like something from another world....

[Exits: north east south west up]
An elder druid stands here, watching the local flora and wildlife.
A large deer stag is here, protecting his territory.
(Holy Aura) The old Hierophant of the holy grove is here, gathering ivy.

You yell, 'Ya hear me? I fooled ya!'

You yell, 'I know you're 'round here so stop hidin'!'

You say, '..maybe she ..'

You say, 'Um..'

A small bunny has arrived.

You agree absolutely.

You cough loudly.

You sit down.

You say, 'I'll wait.'

You say, '..and she'll s-show...'

The Hierophant leaves east.

Xomo stutters a breath.

Bovic mentally projects to you, 'Need any work done?'

You say, 'I'll w-wait h-here..an' i-t'll be l-like..like it was nothin'..'

You say, '..the ether vacuum was just coincidence...'

Xomo stutters a few more breaths.

You say, '..I didn't g-get someone else k-killed...'

Xomo's eyes well up.

The Hierophant leaves north.

Xomo looks at the ground.

You say, 'I shoulda r-refused a g-gift..'

Xomo sniffles.

You say, 'B-but I'm not gonna c-cry..'

Xomo sniffles.

Xomo swallows a few sobs.

You say, 'N-not gonna cry..'

You tell Bovic, 'I-i'm ok-kay..'

Torrential rain begins to fall as a storm erupts.
The crackling sound of thunder booms.

Xomo pulls his knees up to his chest, resting his forehead on his knees.

Xomo hugs a Book of Divine Genesis.

A deer has arrived.

The day has begun.

Xomo sniffles.

A stag leaves east.

The sun rises in the east.

The thunderclap from the storm seems to cease.

You look up and notice that it is no longer raining.

The sky gets very cloudy and a calmness begins here.

A deer leaves south.

You say, '..um...'

Xomo sniffles.

You say, '..maybe if I take a walk an' come back..she'll be here.'

Xomo nods at his knees.

You look up and notice that it is no longer raining.

Xomo uses a hand to shift his center of gravity to the opposite side, and stands.

You stand up.

Xomo wipes his eyes.

eastern road.

By the beautiful waterfall
You see a VERY beautiful waterfall here. It looks almost as if diamonds are
falling down the mountain. (You reach out and grab and no, it IS only water.)
It looks so nice here, you feel like taking a nap.
The trail leads north.

[Exits: north]
A golden rose is here, glinting in the light.

This golden rose is a small but intricate blossom. It grows
at the top of a single stalk planted in the ground. Its few
leaves are dark green, ovalesque and serrated. It is a healthy
plant, though its petals look metallic.

You look up and notice that it is no longer raining.

You say, '..s'not like I knew her long...'

You say, 's'not the point..'

You say, '...no point in even talkin' 'bout it. Dun have ta justify ta anyone..'

You get a golden rose.

The sky gets very cloudy and a calmness begins here.

You say, '..just be nice if someone I like that did somethin' important for me didn't have-ta teeter on the wrong side of fortune...'

You say, 'S'alright.'

Xomo swallows another sob.

Xairria tells you, 'Hum'

You tell Xairria, 'y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-'

You tell Xairria, 'YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!!!!'

Cleric Guild
The room is bright and well lit. The walls are made of a sandy marble
and are decorated with various pictures of Gods that the clerics may choose
to serve. Gods of Darkness seem to predominate the Gods of Light, almost as
if the decorator were predisposed to the Shadow. Of the paintings, one which
is larger than all others and framed in superior work is that of a Wolverine
covering its face with a claw, peeking through it with insane eyes of
condensed hatred and evil. There is a slight smell of incense in the air
from the torches in the corners of the room. The ceiling is made of glass
so that you may look upon the heavens and pray to your God. There are
pillows of white dovefeather wrapped in silk placed throughout the room for
you to meditate on. The only exit is to the east to the lounge.

[Exits: east]
(Limited) A fluffy pillow is here. It sure looks comfortable.
A young lady in clerical garments smiles at you and greets you with a blessing.

<100%hp 100%mn 85%mv> Inside the grove
As you walk among the stately oaks of this grove, you feel at peace and
in harmony with this beautiful forest. If only the rest of the lands were
so tranquil. The trail turns towards the east, leading into the secluded
trees of the druids' holy grove, and a path back to the eastern road lies
south. A large pile of dirt rises from the center of the knoll here, leading
into musty subterranean depths.

[Exits: east south down]

At the edge of the grove
You are standing at the entrance of a beautiful grove of trees, and your
heart is filled with pure, peaceful thoughts. This looks like a safe place

lies to the north, and you can see the eastern road to the south.

Xairria has arrived.

Xairria leaves north.

Xairria has arrived.

Xairria nods.

Xomo sniffles.

The night has begun.

Xomo stutters several breaths.

Xairria peers curiously towards you.

Xomo sniffles.

Xomo stiffens up.

Xairria shakes her head.

Xomo pounces into you with quite a wail.

You yell, 'WHY!?'

Xairria says, 'Owww.'

Xairria says, 'Why what?!'

Xomo shakes his head into your stomach, sobbing something fierce.

You sob quietly to yourself.

Xairria glares grumpily.

You say, 'Y-You scared me!'

You say, 'IT was almost like the-the t-time w-when my p-pa died!'

Xairria says, 'For Lords sake, Xomo. Get it together.'

You burst into tears.

You say, 'Ya don't understand!'

Xairria says, 'No. No I don't.'

Xairria tries to distance herself from your sobbing.

You say, 'It w-wouldn't h-have been t-the first time I got someone killed for doin' something stupid!'

You burst into tears.

Xomo holds on tighter.

Xairria says, 'You killed your father?'

You say, 'Ya did somethin' nice for me!'

You say, 'And-and-and...it almost got you in trouble! B-but-but I had a plan ta get ya out of it...then then..'

Xomo sniffles.

You burst into tears.

Xairria shakes her head in mild disbelief.

You say, 'Ya had ta go and botch it after that weird weird SOUND!'

Xairria says, 'It's gone now.'

You say, '..then Thera freezed in a e-ether vaccuum!'

You say, 'So-so..'

You say, 'I th-thought...'

Xomo looks up at you with tears streaming down his face.

Xairria clenches her jaw, obviously uncomfortable.

You say, 'I thought ya got killed! Thought somethin' really, really, really bad happened to ya!'

You sob quietly to yourself.

Xairria says, 'I'm still here? Yup. Still breathing. You on the other hand..'

Xairria raps on your back several times. Hard.

You say, 'ow-ow-ow-'

You yell, 'OW!'

Xomo pulls away immediately.

Xomo stifles a few sobs.

You say, '..s-sorry...I j-just..'

You sit down.

Xairria stares at you in disbelief.

Xomo wipes his eyes.

Xairria says, 'Aye...........?'

You say, 'You did a lot for me, y-ya k-know...ya may not think it...b-but..'

Xomo sniffles.

Xomo stutters tapering exhales.

You say, 'The Time Lady was mad at you..'

Xairria says, 'Oh Laurd.'

Xairria stares to the sky.

You say, '..so I was tryin' to make it like I stole it from ya...i-instead..instead of..'

Xomo wipes his eyes.

You say, ''Stead of ya given to me..'

You say, '..s-so when the ringing came..and the ether vaccuum c-came..'

You say, 'I thought you were a GONER!'

Xomo wipes his nose.

Xairria says, 'I.. What. What did she say?'

Xairria says, 'What did you tell her?'

Someone has arrived.
Vierna has arrived.
A twisted staff has arrived.

Someone leaves west.
A twisted staff leaves west.
Vierna leaves west.

Xairria waits impatiently for an answer.

Xairria's tail begins to thump nervously.

You say, 'I was walkin' 'round..'

Xomo gains control of his respiration.

Xomo releases a final sob.
The sky appears somewhat cloudy, and it begins to rain.

You say, '...in New Ethshar...'

You say, 'And the Time Lady saw the book in my hands...'

You say, 'Like I'm holdin' it now.'

Xairria looks at you.

Xairria buries her face into her palms.

You say, '....it meant a lot to me..'cuz it's 'bout Lord Xurinos...and ya were real nice and articulate and stuff..and patient in teachin' me what ya did.'

Xomo hugs the Book of Divine Genesis.

Khrook tells you, 'Hail'

You say, 'So said it was an interestin' book I had.'

Xairria shakes her head slowly.

You say, 'Asked me where I got it..'

Xomo lowers his head.

You say, 'Didn't think nothin' of the question..'

You say, 'I was all happy you did what ya did...'

You shake your head.

You say, 'So I wasn't coy 'bout it at all..'

Xairria says, 'I see.'

You say, 'She asked other stuff...'

Xairria begins to utter a small prayer under her breath.

You say, 'She asked who I got it from...and where ya got it from.'

You look up and notice that it is no longer raining.

Xairria curses bitterly.

You say, 'If ya wanna be mad, s'okay. It won't change what I think 'bout you.'

Xomo crosses his legs.

You say, 'It's my fault anyway, no matter how ya look at it. Accident or not.'

Xairria says, 'It is your fault.'

You agree absolutely.

He cannot hear you.

He cannot hear you.

Xairria says, 'Now what do we do?'

You say, 'I know what I'll be doin', but lots of that depends on what you wanna do.'

You say, 'Or could depend, I shoulda said.'

Xairria says, 'What'll you be doing? Hiding under a able?'

Xairria says, 'A table?'

Xomo grins slightly.

You say, ''Course not.'

You say, 'Just bothered me ta think 'bout you sufferin' for somethin' I did.'

You say, 'Cuz you were lots of help.'

You say, 'Kinda like pa.'

Xairria's snout twitches.

Xairria says, 'The pa you killed.'

You say, 'Yeah, that's 'bout right.'

You say, 'And I'm thinkin' the charade was a last chance ta put the sufferin' on myself.'

You say, ''Stead of you.'

You say, 'Over this book, anyhow.'

Xairria nods.

Xairria says, 'Did you read it?'

Xairria raises an eyebrow.

You nod.

You say, 'First thing I did..after ya left.'

The day has begun.
You are thirsty.
You are hungry.

Xairria says, 'What did it teach you?'

You say, 'Read it 'longside the Tome of the Void.'

You say, 'I didn't divulge every little thing in it, but it did help me understand some things better.'

You stand up.

You lean back and streeeeeettch your arms and legs.

Xairria nods.

You say, 'If ya thinkin' ya wasted your hide gettin' to me for nothin''

Ryvvik bows deeply.

You say, 'Ya don't need ta worry 'bout that.'

You say, 'Gettin' it to me, I mean ta say'

Along the Eastern Road
You are traveling down the eastern road between Ethshar and the eastern
lands. The road back to Ethshar is west of you while the Eastern Road
winds onward to the east. You see a beautiful grove of trees up north,

[Exits: north east south west]
Xairria the Mistress Mystic of Momentum is here.

Xairria says, 'I am regretting that decision.'

Xairria stares upward.

You say, 'I bet ya do. Butcha know what?'

Xairria curls her tail around her body tightly.

Xairria says, 'What?'

You say, 'I'll regret it with ya, if you'll let me. Just dun ask me to renounce Lord Xurinos in the process.'

You say, 'Of course I mean ta say I'll do what I can ta help ya.'

You say, 'Perhaps stand in your place.'

You say, 'Whatcha say?'

The sky gets very cloudy and a calmness begins here.

Xairria says, 'It's not likely to end that way.'

You say, 'Maybe not. But that dun mean it shouldn't be attempted.'

You say, 'We're friends, 'member?'

Xairria looks at you, her eyes blinking several times over in thought.

You smile happily.

Xanthes has arrived.
A stone elemental has arrived.

Xanthes leaves north.
A stone elemental leaves north.

Xairria utters the words, 'btyiduhab gtazso'.
Xairria is surrounded by a chromatic aura.

You say, 'Go if ya have to protect yaself from some in blood-range.'

You say, 'We can talk further over the ether.'

Xairria says, 'I don't.'

You nod.

You say, 'Ya wanna take this elsehwere? We're kinda out in the open.'

You peer around yourself intently.

You look up and notice that it is no longer raining.

Xairria now follows you.
