Already put in a tone down on zombies/mummies. They were far too powerful and I was seeing that rank 35-41 characters could be raising zombies in the upper 50's.

Changes implemented:
Animate Dead-
Removed the +5 corpse level bonus.
Modified to be at corpse level and then tiered based on your rank. Will not exceed 60 aside from Necrophiles who still get a tiered bonus. At hero, you will never have a zombie that should be level 60 animate at less than level 60.

Mummify-
Remove +10 corpse level bonus.
Modified to be at corpse level and then adding up to 2 bonus levels based on rank.
Implemented a tiered bonus for Necrophiles that could add an additional 2 levels to the zombies.

After seeing what I saw today, this change was needed. I will continue to monitor and tone up/down as needed.

I'll go into more detail as some people are confused on how the changes work.

Animate dead:
After successful cast.
Zombie level = corpse level
Run a check to see the zombie level compared to the character level.
If level < 30, max zombie level is character level +5
If level < 35, max zombie level is character level +6
If level < 40, max zombie level is character level +7
If level < 45, max zombie level is character level +8
If > 45, max zombie level is character level + 9

This means at hero, you can have a level 60 zombie.
Necrophiles get an additional bonus. Which is tiered based on level as well. I'll let you figure that out.


Mummify:
mummy Level = corpse level + 2
Run a check to compare the mummy level to the character level.
If level < 40, max mummy level is character level + 9
If level < 45, max mummy level is character level + 10
If level < 50, max mummy level is character level + 11
This means at 51 you can have a level 62 mummy

I added in a tiered bonus for necrophiles on these as well. But not as much as for Zombie's as mummies have also been given a few additional perks, also which I will let you discover on your own.


This level adjustment should not be detrimental to necromancers as the fail timer has been removed and the success timer cut in half. A good balance is necessary.
