Long ago there was a cult of some of the most powerful beings in the Realm. They practiced only the most darkest magic's and paid tribute to any dark lord or mistress they could discover. In short time, they had gathered so much power, that they planned for global domination. They trained young Drow, Draconians, and mostly humans in the art of darkness. In short time, these nightwalkers began a reign of terror upon all of Thera.

The Heavenly forces of the Light saw this with sorrow and acted quickly to stop it. Sending legions of Heavenly warriors against them, they brought down the cult in short time. Though the Nightwalkers were priestly warriors, similar to the Paladins, they lacked the paladin's disciplines and training. Those that survived fled to the darkest regions of Thera...the lands of Nightfall. Only recently have they begun to open new guilds within the cities. Only time will tell if another war is coming.

NightWalkers are those who choose at all costs the path of darkness. Cursed or blessed, depending on your point of view, these mortals have been given the powers of night and corruption by the heavenly forces of darkness. Those considering to study in this art should be forewarned...the rewards are many, but the sacrifice is great. Since nightwalkers are bound to the forces of evil, any who stray from this path and seek a life of balance or goodness will find himself without the ability to draw upon the dark forces to cast magic spells.
